The scientific miracle of the Quran is one of the topics that has emerged in the connection between Quranic studies, modern science, and Orientalist research, and has become a controversial topic in the contemporary era. The main issue of this research is to explain the origins, developments, and methodological foundations of Orientalists' views on the scientific miracle of the Quran and to examine the reflection of these views in Islamic thought. The present research, using a descriptive-analytical method and using content analysis of selected works, examines the process of formation and development of these views in different historical and epistemological contexts. The findings of the study show that the views of Orientalists can be categorized into three major streams: the positivist and convergent stream, which observes a kind of harmony or conformity between some statements of the Quran and the findings of empirical science; the cautious and analytical stream, which emphasizes the difference between the language of revelation and the language of science, as well as the instability of scientific theories, and avoids the certainty of scientific miracles; and the historical-critical stream, which considers this phenomenon mainly as a posteriori reading and influenced by the historical, cultural, and theological conditions of the modern era. An examination of the foundations of these streams shows that the differences in views do not only refer to the interpretation of verses, but also arise from differences in epistemological assumptions,
